We are here to assist you in developing your retriever
to the level of training and obedience that fits your
lifestyle!
Whether you have a desire for a well-behaved companion,
hunting partner or would like to compete in obedience or
hunting competitions, this program is customized to fit
your needs. Here is a small sample of some of the steps
taken:
- socialization
- basic obedience
- house manners
- retrieving fundamentals
- force fetching
- noise adaptation
- water work
- transition to the field
Peak View Retrievers focuses several aspects on
community service:
One aspect is helping our loving companions be good
citizens. Though your desire may not be to obtain this
AKC Canine Good Citizen Title, we feel the 10 areas
focused on for the CGC title is important for any dog to
learn.
Another area of personal importance is the lessons
learned from teaching some of these retrievers to give
back their loving and caring personalities as Therapy
Dogs. We have many stories to share and many memories of
our hunting partners giving their spare time as
nurturers to the young, old, sick, and those most in
need of some extra canine love and attention.
We can also provide the community a service of bringing
rescue dogs back to life with a new purpose. This is by
no means an easy endeavor, and takes a significant
amount of patience, time and knowledge. Peak View
Retrievers has a proven record with all rescue dogs
we've worked with.
Whatever your needs, whatever your goals we are here to
work with you and your dog to help create a happy and
